New Moon

I seriously can't wait for this. I've read both Twilight and New Moon, and I find both pretty good. Now saving up to buy the next two books - Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

I'm gonna watch it next week yo!

<3 Robert Pattinson <3

Jacob the Werewolf looks like a werewolf in person it kinda freaks me out. He has a killer body but I don't find him cute at all =/

I must say, the movie is tailor-made for girls that most guys are "forced" to watch it.

"If not cause I know you like this a lot, I wouldn't even think of watching it."

See? I didn't force him to watch it with me wan ;)

Oooh I can't wait!

Riddle

Kindly state your answer in the comment box. The first to get it right will get a sweet from me <3

-------------------------------------

During a visit to a mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criteria is that defines if a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "We fill up a bathtub. Then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."

Okay, here's your test: 1. Would you use the spoon?2. Would you use the teacup?3. Would you use the bucket?

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket, as it is larger than the spoon."

Was the visitor right? What was the director's response?

-------------------------------------

I’m gonna watch 2012. Finally! I have rocket high expectations for that movie since I heard it’s really good.

I’m so outdated, I know..but not my fault lor. We tried to get tickets TWO DAYS before the intended slot on the opening week but all good seats were taken already. Even second rows are all taken T_T

Aih. People nowadays damn free. Like me. LoL.

-------------------------------------

Today’s a cold, cold day. It has been this chilly since 8 pm on Sunday, 22 November 2009, as quoted by..erm..nevermind.

I wonder why, too ;)

My Weekend

Left Cheras last Friday night. Went to a friend's place, about half an hour away. Main objective there was to take care of a pet dog but I think I spent most of my time there flipping astro channels, sight-seeing in Putrajaya, mengada ask my friend play songs on the guitar, and sleeping.

I think Putrajaya is a very modernized place. The buildings, which were mostly government buildings, had really beautiful architecture although some were too over the top, but the one thing that got me really amazed were the street lamps and traffic lights. Really cute. Haha

Heard there were about 5 to 7 beautiful bridges but we managed to get to one only.

Road quite empty on a Saturday night. Definitely not my kind of place. Can die.

A picture overlooking the city.

Too bad no pic of me with the toy dog. She's really friendly, hardly barks and forever wags tail wan. Very playful, too. She's somewhat like a sausage dog, with long body and short legs. Cute right?

Just got back home. Tomorrow back to work, againnn T_T

Now I can't wait for this coming weekend!!

Randomness

I’m gonna be a cute little toy dog’s nanny for the weekend! My friend described Coco as a small but long with short legs, dark brown and friendly to loving people.

I hope I am loving enough to be able to get along with the dog ;)

It’s been a while, at least a decade ago; since I last handled a dog but this time, I’m just gonna play with it. The bathing part, clearing the poop all’s gonna be pushed to another dog nanny.

Pictures of the dog + me and the dog will be up after the weekend.

Gonna share some pictures from my company’s sports day, held last weekend at Kelana Jaya Stadium, PJ.

Senaman pagi. I got tired even before the event started, thanks to this -_-"

Gary, as the rat mascot.

Team Ratto. KokYee, as the mascot.

During a telematch – King Kong Race. I actually lost my balance and fell on my back, getting mud on my shirt and A’s trackpants.

Luckily the weather was pretty fine that day, except for a short drizzle in between.

Dinner @ Sakae Sushi, The Curve, followed by pool and bowling session.

Just to let you know, despite my damn gaya almost strike bowling video, I ended up with a 3rd placing. But being in the 3rd place isn’t that bad. 2nd runner up leh. Hehe.

Ah fine, there were only 3 of us at the bowling arena T_T

Weekend’s drawing near!! No getting up at ungodly hours, sandwiched in trains and frozen in the icy cold office staring at hundreds of Excel sheets for TWO whole days! =D

This entry is mumbo-jumboed, and that spells out randomness ;)

A Story To Tell

How come you are handling this so well?
Me? Since when wor..
No emo entry. No emo status message. No nothing. Not like you.

I think got emo entry lor. The song “Already Gone” by Kelly Clarkson emo mah no meh.

But anyway, this is probably something I would want to write anyway. You’d be surprised on how well I subconsciously documented the events and dates in my mind for the past 4 months, considering the fact that I’m quite a forgetful person.

------------------------

After series of “Any last words?” asked during one of our late night pillow talks, my friend asked, if I were granted three wishes, what the three would be.

I wish I could find the right guy without going through major heartaches. I think I’ve had enough of heartaches.

I wish for a simple life – Financially stable, a healthy and happy family where my guy would be able to be home most of the days to spend time with the family, and to be able to grow old to see and care for my grandkids.

And I wish to have my parents and siblings close to me, with friction among us so minimal any family gatherings/CNY would be something to look forward to.

My wish number 3 is granted already, so I hope it will only change for the better. Wish number 2 is dependent on wish number 1. And as for wish number 1, 3 months ago I thought it has been granted, but I was wrong.

Leaf’s departure is because Tree didn't ask her to stay

It was exactly 4 months ago when our eyes first met at Kerinchi LRT station.

3 months and a week, since the day I nodded to the question. How we spent our Sunday together, his email asking me to look at him so that he could ask me that question (at Starbucks), and all are still very vivid.

It has been about 10 weeks, since my first visit at his hometown.

8 days, since I last saw him.

4 days, since the break up (How come I felt as though it was weeks ago)

And it has been 2 days since we last talked.

The one thing that I thought was right turned out to be the conjugate of it. So what happens if I allow something, which for now, doesn’t seem so right, to happen?

The universe is trying to tell us something. What it is exactly, we don’t really know, for it all depends on how we see and interpret it.

Just got to know I will be permanently rooted in KL, at least for the next 3-5 years. I can choose to see it as a gifted opportunity to repair my relationship with my recent ex, but I can also opt to see it as a start to something new.

Since recent ex never bothers to fix things despite the many chances I gave, and since I’m against initiating all the “Hey babe, I’m so sorry can we reconcile blah blah blah” kind of shit unless it’s totally my fault, we are both obviously too egoistic for sacrifices so..

I choose the latter I'll see how, but the tender is still closed. Wouldn’t want to rush into anything new for now..

------------------------

So, this entry emo enough or not ah?

Unrelated note. Apparently many thought I’m of Baba Nyonya descent. Why ar? Cause of my darker skin tone? T_T

Already Gone

Remember all the things we wanted
Now all our memories they're haunted
We were always meant to say goodbye

Even with our fists held high
It never would've worked out right
We were never meant for do or die

I didn't want us to burn out
I didn't come here to hold you, now I can't stop

I want you to know that it doesn't matter
Where we take this road someone's gotta go
And I want you to know you couldn't have loved me better
But I want you to move on so I'm already gone

Looking at you makes it harder
But I know that you'll find another
That doesn't always make you want to cry

Started with a perfect kiss then we could feel the poison set in
Perfect couldn't keep this love alive
You know that I love you so, I love you enough to let you go

I want you to know that it doesn't matter
Where we take this road someone's gotta go
And I want you to know you couldn't have loved me better
But I want you to move on so I'm already gone

I'm already gone, already gone
You can't make it feel right when you know that it's wrong
I'm already gone, already gone
There's no moving on so I'm already gone

Already gone, already gone, already gone
Already gone, already gone, already gone, yeah

Remember all the things we wanted
Now all our memories they're haunted
We were always meant to say goodbye

I want you to know that it doesn't matter
Where we take this road someone's gotta go
And I want you to know you couldn't have loved me better
But I want you to move on so I'm already gone

I'm already gone, already gone
You can't make it feel right when you know that it's wrong
I'm already gone, already gone
There's no moving on so I'm already gone

How I Spent My Weekend

Malacca trip once more, but this time it's with my colleagues.

Mini Malaysia & Mini Asean - Two words. Huge disappointment. We thought we’re gonna be giants in a land of miniature Malaysia.

Turned out, Mini Malaysia basically comprises of 13 houses on stilts, designed to show the cultures in each state – Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, Sarawak and Sabah. Some houses were well furnished, while others were pretty run-down. The Penang house was alright but the flag was very battered.

The house with the best interior design would be the Malacca house. Biased betul. LoL.

Similarly, Mini Asean comprises of houses of Asian countries i.e. Philippines, Thailand, etc. We saw Philippines’s and Thailand’s houses from afar. Didn’t even bother to enter or check out the other countries’ houses.

The RM 12 entrance fee was so not worth it but at least we managed to create some fun for ourselves.

Rating: 3/10

All of us were hot, sweaty and hungry when we left the place. Wanted to go Bachang for the famous pai gu mien (pork ribs noodle) but apparently, Bachang is the name of an area, not a street or the shop name. GPS was pretty useless in such situation.

And so I S.O.S.ed my Malacca friend – YHsin.

It was past 1pm already and he was still sleeping -_-“

The hungry us then decided to go for the famous chicken rice ball at a shop at Jonker Street.

But before that we entered a very well furnished and decorated chicken rice ball shop and get the camera working.

SN made the funniest and biggest blunder that day. Thinking that the rice balls were as firm and compact as a fishball, she forked one rice ball and swung it around. Within the next minute, the rice ball split into two, half landed on the table while the other half flew up high and landed on the floor behind her.

Rating: 7/10

We then took a casual stroll along Jonker Street, making many pit stops along the way.

There were many interesting stuff to see. We stopped by an antique store. They had lots of cool stuff i.e. gramophone, antique furniture, antique precious stones and several pairs of very old and worn shoes. The one which caught my attention was the gramophone. The owner was quite nice cause he demo-ed and played a disc on a gramophone.

There was indeed a huge difference in the sound quality.

A water well

Another interesting stop was a very young boy hacking away a round block of gula ketuk.

Although it was a damn hot day, I actually had fun!

Rating: 8.5/10

It was 4pm by the time we were done walking. Arleen wanted to bring us to a very good cendol place but it was closed =(

We then decided to have pork satay BUT it was closed as well =(((

We ended up having crepes at Melaka Raya. I didn’t like it cause the dairy taste was too strong for my liking but the others gave two thumbs up.

Rating: 1/10 for me, probably 9/10 for the rest

Next stop – Baba Nyonya food for dinner at Nyonya Makko, Jalan Melaka Raya. We had asam pedas fish, kangkung belacan, pongpay chicken, cencaluk egg and chicken popiah. Love the pongpay chicken!

Rating: 7.5/10

Before the four of them depart from Malacca, we made a final stock up on local delicacies i.e. coconut sweets, pineapple tarts, durian sweets, etc.

We were hot, sticky, sweaty, stinky and yucky but it was a fun trip indeed. Next trip currently in planning phase!

T.T

Remember when I said I'm bound to complain about my complexion after eating a packet of raisin chocolates?

Which I hope I will not have to complain about it?

Can I complain now?

T____________________________T

Don't know if it's that stupid pack of chocolates or my insufficient rest at night throughout my stay at my friend's place. Hmm.

Of Ghouls, Devils and Darth Vaders!

An update on the past week.

Bunked in with a friend of mine for a week due to certain reasons.

For 5 working days, I could afford to get up later than usual and still reach office like 5 minutes early. I no longer have to wait to be fetched from the LRT station cause it takes only 5 minutes to walk to and from the station.

Staying in PJ damn happening compared to where I am at the moment lor. Haiz.

Dine at Fish & Co. Was once a waitress at the Penang Gurney Plaza branch. Reminiscence betul.

Won 1 pool game, out of 3. I would have won the 3rd game if I didn't make a silly mistake when pocketing the black ball =(

After my disappointing performance at the pool center, we intruded the Halloween showhouse after it was barricaded (It was past 10 pm). When a security guard came to halau us, Aaron made him snap a pic of us. LoL.

Went IKEA since Chok wants to get some new furniture for his new house. Damn rich la that guy. Envious.

The people around sure think we crazy ady.

Since it was Halloween, both Chok and Aaron got themselves cute Halloween accessories.

A: You get this devil horns la. Suits you well.
Me: No way. You get one then I will too.

Aaron bought this, which I think looks very much like his own face.

And Chok got himself a cute pair of horns.

Me, nothing =P Aaron accused me of tricking him into getting that prop.

The plan was to dine at T.G.I. Fridays but it was full house so we went to Tony Roma's. My first time there!

[L-R] Aaron, me, Saufi as Darth Vader, Chok and sweet Mandy.

Food kinda good but a lil pricey for someone with peanuts salary like me. This month I damn broke T_T

Had pleasant surprise when a bunch of teenagers dressed up for Halloween entered Tony Roma's and walked from table to table.

Some ice breaking and photo session before we called it a night.

My first Halloween. It's pretty good, I'd say but it's probably the company.

Would also like to thank the gracious host and his housemate for their hospitality for the entire week =)
