Our Malacca Trip

- Ikan Bakar @ Umbai Road/Portuguese Settlement
- Fried Oyster @ Jalan Bunga Raya
- Baba Nyonya Laksa @ Jonker Walk
- Pineapple Tarts @ Madam Goh's, Jonker Street
- Baba Nyonya Food @ Jalan Melaka Raya
- Cendol + Durian @ Jeeta Groove
- Chicken Rice Ball @ Jonker Street

Sight Seeing:
- Mini Malaysia
- Christ Church @ Red Church and the dead Eye of Malaysia, since we're gonna explore the local delicacies at Jonker area

SN: Our Malacca trip
Me: One day trip this Saturday!
Manager: *points at our declaration signatures* LoL first time I see such thing.
Both: *laughs*
Manager: What do you guys plan to do there?
SN: Makan, since not much interesting sight seeing spots
Manager: This is the list of food you're gonna have in a day??
Both: Yes!
Manager: Oh my goodness!

LoL. Excited excited!

i agree with u mostly about the choice of food.

but i have to totally disagree with u on 3 places.
1) madam goh pineapple tarts. it's not nice. go to the one at bandar hilir. it's in a small house opposite the jail. ask locals around for the pineapple tarts place. the auntie's name is Madam Choo.

2)chicken ball rice @ jonker street. pls pls pls don't go there. the place is FOREVER crowded and the portions are small and very expensive too. if u wan, u can take a 10minute drive to Batu Berendam, go to Taman Merdeka, there's a shop opposite Wilson's Chicken rice which sells undoubtedly the best chicken rice ball in Melaka. and it's so cheap that it isn't even funny. Almost all the locals go here.

3) ikan bakar @ umbai. Same reasoning. too overrated. too expensive. Instead, go to a place called Muara Duyung. Very good ikan bakar and seafood there.
