Honestly, my complexion has gotten a lot better. In fact, it has improved by far, and still is, compared to its condition in May/June 08.
Some of you knew the emotional distress I had been through for the past few months. No thanks to this unforeseen, super duper huge major breakout, which started in April.
Remember how I confined myself at home for several weekends and refused to leave the house even for family meals?
Yes, it was THAT bad. Sorry I'm vain =)
Now that it has gotten soooo much better, I have regained most of the confidence needed to meet people.
Some showed some concern about it. Some didn't even dare to mention about it because it's obviously a sensitive issue.
At least it is, to me.
And some can just say "Aiya nth much ady ma. Just a little bit nia" one minute and the next minute said "Wah you're quite good in covering those in pictures."
-___-"
Maybe I was plain sensitive but I was deeply offended and got sooo worried about it. Has it gotten worse? What makes the fella say that? Blah blah blah..
FYI, my level of knowledge in Photoshop is like a newborn's. Zilch. I have absolutely no idea how to use it.
And my complexion isn't THAT bad till it shows in pictures, unless it's an off-make-up-close-up shot, thank you very much.
I put on some make up for certain occasions only anyway. Make up are bad for the skin.
Back to my point. Like I said, I might be sensitive and the fella probably meant it as a joke but..I wasn't, and am not laughing.
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate honest comments from ppl. In fact, I constantly do ask my roommate if it has shown any improvements. Or if it has gotten any worse.
*crosses fingers*
And people do say/ask stuff like "Wow what happen to your face? Not pretty liao" or "It didn't show much improvement ar. Still the same".
But I wasn't and am not offended. Not one bit. I was merely deeply concerned and asked them more questions about it.
But saying "Wow you're good at covering those in pictures" is somehow offensive.
To me.
